My November Favorites!!

Hello beauties!! I watch so many monthly favorite videos and I finally decided 'DUHHH I CAN DO A BLOG ON MY MONTHLY FAVORITES!!' So, here I am. What I have noticed though when I actually sit down and think about it is, I usually use the same products month after month after month. But I have actually bought some new stuff this month so it makes a little more sense to do this blog post! So let's jump right into it and hope this doesn't get too long or bore you.

Starting with hair stuff.. For about two weeks now I have been using the Mane and Tale shampoo and conditioner. I needed something to help my dry processed hair and have tried so so many different shampoo and conditioners and I honestly didn't have much hope for this brand anymore then I did the brand before. But it made my hair feel absolutely AMAZING! I was so surprised and shocked and very happy with the results. I am just about out and I will definitely be re-purchasing!

For my face moisturizer, this isn't something newly purchased but it is something new I have dug out of the back of my beauty junk and rediscovered. It's my Simple Face Moisturizer. I Came to find out the hard way that when I was applying face moisturizer before  my primer everyday I was applying too much. That was leaving my face slippery and not a good canvas to work with. So lately I have been using the tiniest amount, just enough to make a thin layer all over my face and it has been making application of everything else a breeze!

For foundation, I am still on my Kat-Von D Bottle. I believe I have been using this for probably 5 weeks or so. I had ordered it online along with Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour foundation. I absolutely love the coverage of Kat Von D but i was finding that after I put some dabs on my face by the time I went back in to rub it in, it was drying and very hard to blend. So I have recently been applying little tiny dots of the Tarte foundation and it has just been making it so much easier to blend the Kat Von D.

All month for concealer I was experimenting. I have used the maybelline dark spot corrector (the one in the white tube not the clear one) and applying that all over my face before foundation (was an amazing freckle cover-upper) haha. But recently I have purchased and tried the fit me concealer along with glamouflauge by hard candy. But just two days ago I went and repurchased the maybelline dark spot correcter because it just worked the best for me.

As for my eyeshadow, i have not added anymore to my collection. I have more then enough and every color that I would ever use. I am not one for bright green or blue eyeshadow..I'm just a natural eye, smokey most of the time. So All I have been using is Wet N Wild brown colored trio's and switching it up between some maybelline quads too. I have been loyal to my eyeliner as well. For tight lining and water lining I have been sticking with my scandaleyes waterproof khol pencil and for my top eyeliner I have been with jessies girl. It stays put ALL day long I absolutely love it!!

And that about sums it up. I do have some model in a bottle spray left..probably about a work weeks worth but I cannot use that with the kat von d foundation because as soon as I spray that on my face, it immediately breaks apart my foundation. So I will keep that in a safe place until my foundation is gone, because model in a bottle is actually a really great product.

Oh I almost forgot mascara. Sometime my friend sometimes my enemy. I use a ton of mascara. Everyday. I have a drawer full of about 15 mascaras open and used. I only curl my lashes the once, right before mascara. I have tried curling them again to get my desired effect, but every time I went to do that it would just make a mess of my lashes. And yes, I made sure they were dry before I curled them again. I usually like to start and end with clump crusher to separate my lashes, and I use basically anything and everything between those coats until I get my desired effect.

Ok, now I am really done. Hope you enjoyed reading! I will get better at these I promise. This was super fun to do and think about!

Hope you all have an amazing Saturday!!

Sweater Weather TAG!!!

Hello there chicas!!! Found this TAG and since it's kind of short I have just enough time to do it before I have to get ready for work. I hope you enjoy reading && enjoy your day!!!!

1. Favorite Fall lip product?
-My lips get super dry in the winter and I recently looked in my drawer of 'stuff' (aka a shit ton of makeup thrown in a drawer that I forget about) I found Nivea..umm, oh crap. I left it at work. It's not the lip butter, it's the one in the blue tube. I will have to insert a pic! But ya it's super smooth and hydrating!

2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish? - I was recently watching one of itsblondie's video and had to ask her what color her nails were.. she had Essie's 'Wicked" and when I went to the drugstore I spotted "Carry on" by Essie.. it's almost like "wicked" but more of a not so shiny color :)

3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink? - Hot caramel Latte from Dunkin Donuts (we don;t have a Starbucks in my town so I've never tried them!)

4. Favorite Fall Candle? - Oh that's easy. Bergamont Woods from Bath & Body Works. I can see that scent lasting more in my home than just the fall.

5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory - My favorite accessory/clothing is hoodies. They can't be plain, there has to be writing of some sort or a picture on the back. As for scarves, I've never rocked one before!

6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze? - Haunted Houses freak me out, I hold onto the person ahead of me, clothes my eyes and scream when they scream haha. I've never done a haunted hay ride or corn maze but sounds fun!

7. Favorite Halloween movie? - Halloween. That's the only Halloween movie that freaks me out.

8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween? - Starburst!! And chocolate until I get sick of it. ...yes, I am not normal and can only take in so much chocolate before I feel like losing my guts!

9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?! - Well Halloween is done and over, so does that mean I am late on this tag?! I don't dress up for Halloween though but my kids were: Brendon, The Reaper. Bryanna, a witch. Brylee, a cat. And little Braelyn was a different cat costume!

10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall?
 - Cuddles, and hoodies. I'm telling you hoodies is my obsession. I own about 40 and get more every tax season :)

I TAG anyone reading this to do this tag before it gets super too late. Since there are Halloween questions I assume I am late, so go ahead and leave me a comment after you've done the tag!!

Have an amazing day and I'll be back soon!

I SWEAR I'm NOT an A** Kisser!!!!!

Hello lovies. So it's that time again where I work. The oh-so-hated rotation time. As some may know from previous social media updates, I work as a banker in our Casino. We are one of the few departments that rotates shifts every three months. You go from day shift (5am-1pm) for three months to Swing shift (1pm-9pm) for three months and then to grave shift (9pm-5am) for three months after which the cycle starts over for you. I've worked there for three years and this past year is when they strictly started enforcing that you rotate and go where your supposed to, rather then being able to switch shifts with anyone who wanted to switch prior to this past year. I've worked grave shift..about 9 months ago. It was the worst and probably the lowest point I could ever be in my life. I hated it so much, I missed my family. I cherished my days off like gold.

When I was on grave shift my schedule was like this:
My boyfriend works 12-8pm Friday thru Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursdays off. He works at the same Casino as me, but he is a craps dealer. His department never rotates. So he's been there about 3 years as well, and has always been a 12-8pm shift. So When he would get home at 8:30 pm, I would be dressed and ready and waiting for him and when he'd walk in the door I would walk out to be there for 9pm. It was torture. I didn't have a problem staying awake until 5am at work, because you kind of grow accustomed to it and don;t realize the time. I'd get done at 5am, drive home and be there by 5:30-6 because I usually had to stop for a latte, even though I was dead tires, I had to go home and get my older 2 up and off to school before my babysitter showed about 9am after getting her little one off to school. So forcing myself up from 5am-9am was again, very depressing. She would get there at 9 to babysit the two babies so I could go sleep.

The babysitter let me sleep until about 3pm, which is when the older kids would be getting off the bus. Then I had to do whatever I needed to do and be in the shower by 6:30, to start my night all back over again.

Swing shift (1pm-9pm) is my absolute favorite shift. Not just because my boyfriend works around that time but because it's not tooo early or too late. I can wake up, do laundry or clean whatever, get the kids dressed and breakfast. Then after all that I can focus on getting ready for work.

Well, 3 days ago, emails went out. I got mine that said "Tasha you are going to grave shift with Friday Saturday off. I just about died, and now I had to go through my day at work with this craziness on my mind. LUCKILY, one the the bankers I was relieving on day shift was like "Well I got swwing shift and I'd prefer grave. Would you wanna see if we can switch?" I was like I know we can't but meh, whats there to lose? So this was on Friday afternoon. Yesterday I gained the courage to look in my mailbox at work to see if we got any kind of response. And we did!!!!!

I was sooo happy and relieved they let us. So now, I can stay right where I;m at. I am so thankful for my boss/supervisor for helping me out and keeping me on my shift. I just of course can't spread the word we switched because then they will get bombarded with people who want to switch shifts.

Like the title states I am by far an ass kisser, but i am for sure one happy Momma.

Sorry for the randomness of this entry. I just wanted to share my joy. I havent quite yest figure out if I want two seperate blogs. One for makeup one for a day in the life. I know not too many people wamnt to read a whole bunch of randomness of one blog. We will see. I'll take your opinions!!

Have a great and happy Monday!

The 30 Beauty Questions TAG!!!

Time for another tag! MissLJBeauty tagged me to do this a few days ago (I got really busy so I'm kind of late on doing it) but I'm so glad I finally had the time to do it! There are 30 beauty questions to answer, so lets just jump right into it! :)

1. How many times do you wash your face daily?
Once. I wash it in the morning and that's it. Bad beauty rule broken, I know!

2. What skin type do you have?
I have combination skin. My T-Zone is an oil slick and I HATE it!

3. What is your current facial wash?
I use the Olay clothes you have to wet and lather, then I use Nutrogena wipes to get off any excess, then in the shower I use a nutregina face bar soap to get the leftovers!

4. Do you exfoliate?
Yes. I exfoliate my face at least once a week with St.Ives scrub.

5. What moisturiser do you use?
Recently I've been bouncing between a few. I will either use Simple Brand or Cetaphil.

6. Do you have freckles?
YES. My face is COVERED. And I  have hated them since I was teeny tiny.

7. Do you use eye cream?
No, but I have been wanting to!

8. Did you or do you have acne prone skin?
No I do not. I very rarely get a pimple.

9. What foundation do you use?
I used revlon colortsya for many years and just recently started using kat von d's foundation about 2 weeks ago.

10. How about concealer?
I use concealer for my freckles not so much my under eye area, but I use either MAC prolongwear or revlon colorstay.

11. Do you know your undertone color?
Yes. I'm pretty sure I have more of a pink undertone.

12. What do you think of fake eyelashes?
No, I've never worn fake lashes. I have naturally long lashes.

13. Did you know your supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes, all makeup has an "expiration" date. But, I normally do not follow them because my makeup still works fine. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not haha.

14. What brand of mascara do you use?
Covergirl and Physicians Formula are the ones I use the most.

15. What make-up tools do you use in your make up application?
I always use some type of Real Techniques brush when applying my makeup!

16. Do you use a makeup base/primer for the eyes?
Yes. I use a different one every day though. I have a bunch of different ones.

18. What is your favourite eyeshadow colour or shade?
I love rose gold colors, and also different shades of brown.

19. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Both. I use a pencil liner on my water line and to tight line, and I use a liquid liner on the lash line.

20. Do you use mineral makeup?
No, I have never tried it.

21. What is your favorite lipstick?
That's a tough question to answer. I am a NUDE chic. Like, concealer nude. Ya I'm that kinda girl. Lately I've been trying to love MAC's Creme d  nude since I paid so much for it, but it's just not nude enough for me. I have yet to find one that is nude enough.

22. What is your favorite blush to use?
I love every NYX blush I own! I'm also loving my ELF blush in Mellow Mauve.

23. Have you ever considered taking makeup classes?
Not really, in my small town there is really no where to take classes for those types of things.

24. Name a makeup crime that you hate?
I'm not sure what a "makeup crime" is considered, but I absolutely hate when people wear bright white eyeshadow in their crease and brow bone with a different color on the lid! I've seen it done too many times. I also hate when people don't know how to blend out their eyeshadow. Oh, and when someone looks like they stuck their finger in black eyeshadow and just streaked it across their eyes... no. I could go on and on lol.

25. Are you clumsy in putting makeup on?
Not really, although sometimes I do poke myself in the eye with my mascara wand if I'm not paying attention.

26. Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Lauren Conrad! Her makeup and outfit always look amazing. I'd be one happy girl if I owned her wardrobe.

27. Could you ever leave the house without make up on?
Yes, maybe. But I prefer not to.

28. If you could leave the house with just ONE makeup item, what would it be?
Chapstick. I cannot stand not having something on to hydrate my lips.

29. In your opinion what is the BEST makeup line?
For high end, I'd probably have to say MAC or Lorac. For drugstore I would have to say either NYX, ELF, or Covergirl!

30. What do you love about make up?
I love how creative people can get with it. It's so much fun creating different looks day after day. No matter what you are in the mood for, you can always portray that with your face. I also love how it can give a girl confidence. I've known girls who felt down about themselves, but had a change in mood once they put on a little makeup. The world of beauty is an awesome place! Everyone is so compassionate about it!

If anyone else wants to do this tag you're more than welcome to!
Just let me know in the comments below so I can check out your post! :)

My YouTube.....

Hello loves. I just wanted to throw this down on the table real quick. I do have a YouTube channel. Currently on that I have just been uploading short mini clips of my life. Not being consistent but I am giving it my all, and until I figure out how to edit, its just coming straight from my phone. I am going to be using my flip camera soon to do a whats on my samsung galaxy 3 tag, and depending on the difference in quality I might use the flip from here on out. But we will have to see that quality.

My YouTube channel is NOT for tutorials, but rather beauty product reviews and rants and raves. I am no where near an artist and would never claim to be. So i will stick to vlogging and beauty reviews. I think I might make a separate channel for beauty and keep my vlogs separate, just because that seems to be what subbies like.

But yea, I just wanted to get that out. No pressure to subscribe ;)

My EVERYDAY FULL COVERAGE makeup!!!

Hello loves!!! It's Friday morning, and my plan was to get this posted last night but I got too sucked into my YouTube subscription feed that by the time I was like 'Oh ya!! THAT'S what I needed to do!!' it was too late and I was too tired. But here it is, better late then never I suppose. Even though I hate that saying because I'm always late at everything :( Anyyyways, here is my full coverage makeup routine for EVERYDAY. I've been with my boyfriend like 12-13 years and he can testify that I've never been a day without makeup, except a few days where he wasn't home, that was my exception. That may sound weird and sound as though I only wear makeup to impress my boyfriend, who should be with me no matter if I have makeup on or not if he truly cares, but it's just my own self-confidence issue. Not his. So without further rambles.... here it goes!!! Hope you enjoy!!

So to start with, before I take a shower (every morning, I CAN'T do the night shower thing) I was my face with Olay wash cloths. I just recently found them and they do work amazing. My only request would be that they be just a tad tiny bit bigger. After my shower I moisturize and with that I switch between two different moisturizers. I either use the brand 'Simple' moisturizer or I will use Cetaphil. Just depending on if I was a thick cream or thinner. Following that is my primer. I have been using Benefits POREfessional for about a week now, I ordered the little bitty (literally) travel size tube of it.  I use that on my problem pore area but it doesn't seem to work too well, and I even dab it in. And on the rest of my face I use Revlon primer, which I LOVE! Just recently I stopped using Garnie Fructis BB Cream, which I would apply on top of my primer. But lately I've just been going right to the concealer after primer. I need something good, because I have an army of freckles on my face that i HATE. I know some people love them, and most people that don;t have them think that the people who do should flaunt them.... well that's not me. I hate them and always have. Maybe if I didn;t have as much it'd be different. But from as far back as I can remember I have always had foundation on my face.

So for concealer for the last few weeks I have been using Sonia Kashuk's concealer palette in medium. Although the product went quite fast I do like the coverage and staying power. So At this point I just use the concealer and dab it over the majority of my freckles. I don;t get worried about a few popping through because I have discovered Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation. And kind of have an obsession! Although very thick and pretty hard to blend, I find the best way to apply is with my fingers. I dab the foundation in dots all over my entire face and use my fingers to blend it out. With it being so thick and hard to blend I take my wet beauty blender and dab the blender all over my face to even everything out. And it looks amazing. The only thing I CANNOT do with this foundation is set it with my Model In A Bottle setting spray because it seems to break apart the foundation around my nose. Odd, but that's what happens.

If I feel like using a concealer to brighten my under eye I will use Mac Prolong wear concealer in NW20 or Maybelline Fit Me concealer wand in light. And I use the tip of the beauty blender to blend that out as well. I usually take my setting brush by elf to set my under eyes with stay matte translucent powder then use the same powder with elf's powder brush to set the rest of my face. Then bronzer time. My favorite part. I had elfs blush and bronzer duo before but it was in a super dark color... just recently I found the original (St.Lucia) duo and...AMAZING! I love it so much. And I also love the new brush I got for $3.99!!!!!! I will link it below. It doesn't even have a name, super cheap brush I was skeptical but meh, whats $3?! It took a couple weeks to come because it was from like China or something, that brush is ummm, there is not even words for it. I just washed my brushes last night, but I know that for foundation when I try it, it is going to be awesome. It is super superssoft and extremely dense! I use the same blush in the bronzer duo of St.Lucia then I highlight my cheekbones and bridge of my nose with hard Candy's "bronzer" in Tiki! That thing is going to last me YEARS.
I use elfs eyeshadow primer (the one that's $1) and prime my eyes. I then use the elf eyeshadow compact pictured below, I use the second shade down, the light brown to contour my eyes. Then I put Maybellines          on my eyes before my base color, which I have been IN LOVE with the quad pictured below in the color      . I use the second color (dark brown) on my lids and the copper color in my crease. For the highlight on my eyes and inner corner I use the new Jordana eyeshadow stick. I love it so much!! I then tight line and put eyeliner on my lower lid with, again, Jordana's 12hr eyeliners (super soft and smooth and DOES last a super long time!) On my eyelid I have been using L'Oreal's carbon intense eyeliner for a long time and it's my holy grail and absolute favorite!!

For my eyelashes, I just curl them once, before I apply any mascara, and I either use CoverGirl clump crusher or Lash perfection as my first coat. More often I reach for Lash Perfection and then use clump crusher as my second layer. (there's a lot of layers let me warn you) Before that dries I go over my lashes with L'Oreal's shocking extensions and also use that on my lower lashes. At this point I may go back in with clump crusher depending on how I am doing for time. Usually as my last coat I use The Jordana extreme,  or  just pick a random volumizer from the drawer of 13 mascaras I have open : /
And by the way for all my mascaras they all have to be waterproof and in the blackest color they come. Same with eyeliner... the blackest I can get!

And that covers my face routine!! I used to love spraying my face at the end with model in a bottle setting spray, but with the kat von d foundation I cannot use that. Like I mentioned earlier it literally breaks apart my foundation right away. But when I was using Revlons ColorStay foundation, the model in a bottle worked AMAZING!! I am so glad I purchased that.

Most of the products I use come from the drug store because I do not have any stores around my area with high end makeup so therefor whatever high end products you see or hear of me mentioning I have ordered online. Usually from Amazon. That is my most shopped at online site.

Sorry this was super long but i wanted to include everything step by step. I hope you all have an amazing Sunday and I will talk to you soon!!!

I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW....

I am working on,  and have been for two days now,  a blog post of my full face routine.  Its what I do everyday and as I'm writing it it is becoming long enough to be a teen novel.  So im trying to shorten it up as much as possible so it's not boring but also trying to keep every product in there.  So technically I haven't been MIA, I've been typing and re typing my butt off!!!  By tonight mission will be accomplished!  :)

Hope you all have an AMAZING Saturday!!

MY WORST DAY EVER!! SERIOUSLY!

Ok, this is totally random, but yesterday (November 1st) was official. It was the worst day I've had in awhile... starting from the morning and continuing through the day. So I'm going to re-tell the story just like I did 30 times at work yesterday!!

Since my son was born 11 years ago I have been up between 4:30 and 6am every day. Sleeping on for me is like 8am. And there has been a couple of those days lately which causes a rush and panic through the house to get the kids fed, washed up and dressed in 30 minutes to be ready for school. That became ridiculous so I invested in an alarm clock. I never needed one before but obviously maybe my age is catching up with me ;) So I set the alarm every morning for 6:30. Well on Halloween night (which is a whole nother post coming soon) I guess I forgot to set the alarm. So yesterday I sat up in bed and looked at the clock and it said 10:15!!!!!! You know when you just get woken up suddenly and your so confused as to what day it is, what you are supposed to be doing and whats going on in general. Well, that was me. I got up and walked out of my room. My son who is 11, and my 3 daughters who are 7, 4 and 2 were all in my sons room watching him play the xbox. I was like 'C'mon guys you have to get dressed and we have to go to school!!' My 7 year old daughter (bryanna) threw a massive fit and said 'But Mom it's raining SOOO hard outside'. I got downstairs to get my coffee and everything and it was already 10:40 by now. I was like whatever guys you aren't going to school today but what you did was wrong. I explained that Mom could get in loads of trouble for just not sending you to school when you are not sick... even though I know it's not the worst thing in the world, but their attendance is never screwed up for my stupidity. So that was that.. then the next incident happened...

Bryan works 12-8 everyday I work 1-9. So he takes his ever so sweet time and doesn't shower until 11am. Now, it takes me an hour to get ready...and that's cutting corners and doing a half ass job. So by the time I get in the shower its almost 11:30, and not only do I have cold water but I gotta move move move no stopping at all. By the time I leave here its 12:30-12:35 and I work 25 minutes away. By now I know it sounds logical that I just take a shower before him so I can be ready on time. Can't. And not going any farther with that. So everyday i am racing to work. Literally and get there just on time. If you are late at my job 3 times you get fired. So it is very important that I am not one minute late! (And yes, one minute late counts as being late!) So I'm rushing and racing, get into work an they are like 'Hey, you're not supposed to be here until 2:00 today'. I'm looking a little confuse since my shifts are 1-9pm, and yesterday was my Monday and nobody called to tell me there was a schedule change. The reply "Oh  they must have forgot to call you'.....Oh....Yep....Must be. So anyways, they let me stay at 1 and get done at 9, but seriously all that rushing and racing in the shower, getting ready and the drive. GRRRRRRR. Luckily the day went smooth after that, and i was out by 9pm.

Then as I stated on twitter last night, my usual night routine after work is to come home and watch the YouTube play list I made at work.... well that was delayed 2 hours because Time Warner Cable sucks and our Internet connection has been bogus and screwing up like crazy for the last few weeks. I did get to watch my play list though! I got to bed around 1, was up for 7... and today is totally gonna be a great day I can feel it!!!

be back with another post real soon.... before the Halloween topics are over!!
