My Favorite EcoTools!!!

My Favorite EcoTools Brushes!

Hello Beauties! I wanted to share with you all my absolute favorite EcoTools makeup brushes! I use these brushes daily and I have zero complaints because they are AWESOME! All EcoTools brushes are 100% Cruelty Free.  The handles are made of bamboo and recycled aluminum ferrules and the bristles are made of synthetic taklon.  It is really great to see a brand focusing their line on the earth and how to be Eco-friendly.  As an Environmental Studies major, I appreciate brands such as EcoTools and support them 100%!
EcoTools Tapered Blush Brush
The first brush I want to talk about is the Tapered Blush Brush.  I've had this brush for so long and it still looks and feels brand new! I use it for bronzing my whole face, however this brush can be used for many different things such as blush (of course), contouring, setting and applying powder foundation.  It is fluffy but at the same time very dense.  It is the perfect multitask brush!
6 Piece Essential Eye Set

Blending Brush
The blending brush that comes in this set is very dense and tapered.  I actually use this brush for either highlighting my brow bone or buffing in my concealer underneath my eyes.  This definitely could be a blending brush for those who like denser blending brushes. I prefer more fluffy ones.

Highlight Brush
The highlighting brush is the PERFECT crease and blending brush! It blends the shadows out so smoothly and nicely.  You can also apply your transition/blending color with this brush and it works wonderfully.  This is by far my favorite brush in this set!

Crease Brush
The crease brush is angled and fluffy.  I have used this for highlighting and also blending.  If you like using angled brushes for your crease, this is perfect for you! It is very soft and blends the color out while you apply it.

Shader Brush
This small shader brush is great for those with small eyes! I use this to pack on my all over lid shade and I love it! It is small and precise! I also use this for cream eye shadows because when I use my finger or a bigger shader brush, the cream shadow gets up in my crease.

Smudge Brush
The smudge brush is very small and domed.  It is perfect for either smudging shadow on your lower lash line or smudging out your gel liner on your upper lash line! It is very small and precise!

Day to Night Set

Day to Night Set

Small Powder Brush
The small powder brush is perfect for setting the under eyes.  It is also the perfect brush to use when using loose powder.  I find that it buffs and blends the powder really nicely into my skin.  It is rather small so setting the whole face with this might take a little bit longer, however it is doable.
Stay-There Shadow Brush
The stay-there shadow brush is a rather big, fluffy shader brush.  This is a great eyeshadow brush if you have big eyes because it will apply the color to your lid and at the same time, blend it out since it is fluffy.  I have smaller eyes, so I use this brush to highlight my brow bone and I find that it works really well!
Smudge Brush
The smudge brush is one of my favorite brushes of all time! I use this to outline my crease and outer v.  It is the perfect domed shape to outline and you cannot mess up your eyeshadow if you have this brush! It is very precise and easy to use even if you are a beginner!
Pointed Concealer Brush
The pointed concealer brush is also one of my favorites by EcoTools.  I do not use this for concealing just because I prefer fluffier brushes for concealing my acne spots and under eyes.  Instead, I use this brush the same way as I use the smudge brush.  I like to outline my crease and outer lid with it because it is precise and very easy to use.
Lip/Liner Brush
The last brush in this set is the lip/liner brush.  I use this more for lining my eyes because it is very dense and flat.  I have used it to apply lipstick and it does a great job!

Hope you all enjoyed :) Have an amazing Saturday!!

REVIEW!!! || Military Gum

Hello beauties!!! I have an amazing review today, although it has nothing to do with make-up. I cannot help it, I must share this with you! I discovered this gum about a year ago, give or take a couple months. I was skeptical at first, just like most are with any "energy" supplement. Way back in the day (about 4 years ago) I used to take Stackers for energy... that extra kick to get me going and motivated while working. Those things are so terrible, by the way. Don't ever take them. I don't remember much of them but I know they made me super moody. So when I stumbled on this gum, I was like "Meh, what the hell." Not to mention chewing gum seems hell of a lot better than swallowing a pill. I think I googles energy products one day and ran into this gum. I know for facts that I have been buying it on Amazon from day 1. Did I say how cheap they are also? The smallest package I have seen is where you get 6 packs of gum, each pack containing 5 pieces. Retails for $7 and some change. Killer deal!

All you need is one piece of gum. The directions say to chew one piece for 5 minutes. If you do not feel any energy within 15 minutes you can chew another piece. I never have had to chew 2 pieces. One does an amazing job! I usually feel it's effects within a couple minutes of chewing. As for the taste... it's not bad at all! there are three flavors. Spearmint, Artic Mint and Cinnamon. Spearmint is what I chew daily. I'd have to say out of all three flavors (they were awesome enough to send me a BUNCH of Artic Mint and Cinnamon to try since the only one I've had is spearmint) the Spearmint is the one that has a kind of harsh aftertaste. It's definitely not a gum you can throw in your mouth and chew all day. After about 15 minutes you can get rid of the gum and enjoy your day.

The kick it has is pretty incredible. After the gum is broken apart in my mouth, which is when I start to feel it, you definitely know you have a boost. Your heart does NOT pound out of your chest, you do NOT get a weak stomach or headache. It delivers enough caffeine for you to jump up outta your seat and get sh*t done! Its lasting effect? I'm not 100% sure because you do NOT crash, or feel like you lost a ton of energy. It just slowly fades off somewhere I think :)

I will never be a single day without this gum. It has been my life saver during my last couple hours of work at night and on my days off it has given me the energy and motivation to accomplish everything I need to.

I highly suggest you go and give this a try if you are in need of some energy. Being a Mom, working full time, or just on a lazy day that you should be getting stuff done. I now purchase mine straight from the company, as their customer service is above and beyond any I have ever dealt with. I will leave you the link as well as the product information below :)

Have an amazing day!!!

December Julep Box!!!! My FIRST ONE!!

Hello beauties, sorry I have been MIA lately. I have been super busy in life and mind that I have totally set my blog on the back burner. Won't happen again! Haha.So I put in for my first order for Julep, only because the first box was free (and who can turn down free?!) I just had to pay $3.99 for shipping, which I was OK with. Right after this blog post though, I am cancelling my subscription. I am a nail polish lover, most definitely. I have more nail polish than I can make excuses for, but I was not impressed with what I got. Here are some pictures!!

The two colors weren't THAT bad, but not unique.

I'm not sure the quality of Julep skin products

Inside the Julep box when I opened it.

So there's what I opened. Again, I am not sure about Julep's line of skin care. If you have any input opposing to my negative comments please let me know. Maybe I need to give it a shot?!

Have a great day ladies!!

Growing Up In The 90's!!!!!!

Hi guys! Today I decided to do the 90's kids tag that I saw going around on Youtube. I grew up in the 90's so it has been a great part of my childhood. I have so many fun memeroes I can literally spend hours and hours thinking of the 90's fashion, music and tv shows. Take a look at some of my favorites!!! :)

1. Favorite TV show
- Clarissa Explains it All and Hey Dude! I think I might google where to watch those after this :)
2. Favorite Toy
-Polly Pockets were without a doubt one of the best toys ever created. These tiny worlds for tiny dolls were way too much fun for anyone’s good.

3. Favorite Commercial
-Oh my gosh, I just googles some commercials (because I have the memory of a hampster and don't recall any at all) and I seen the poptart commercial. I remember watching that & it was sooo awesome!!

4. NSync or Backstreet Boys
-Neither. I was New Kids On The Block all the way. I had a little obsession. I had all the dolls and their stage and my oldest brother used to pick on me so bad! I remember getting violently mad at him for hiding them on me!

5. Weirdest Fashion Trend
Definantly wearing these style hair tie's on your wrist for decoration, and those choker necklaces. I used to own soo many!!

6. Favorite Collectables
-Beanie babies!! As I am typing I am seeing the next questionn haha

7. Favorite Beanie Baby
-I don't know if I had a favorite but I do remember having a white angel one with wings

8. How many Tamagotchi's did you go through?
-Haha TONS! That would actually be a great Christmas gift for my daughters!!

9. Favorite Game Console + Game
-I had a PLaystation and I  played Sonic like nobodys business but my most favorite and most played was Gran Turismo!

10. Favorite Disney Channel Original Movie
-Ready for this???...... I've never watched a Disney movie. Like Lion King, Princess... nope. Never. They weren't for me. I was happy with Nick!

11. Favorite Music Artist
-Sound risiculous now, but it was Snoop Dog. I will never tell my kids :)

12. Favorite Nick Jr. show
-Was there a Nick jr?

13. Favorite Candy
-Oh this was fun looking up. I wonder if theres anywhere you could still buy these??

14. Favorite Game (Board game, School game, etc.)
-GUess Who!

15. Favorite McDonald's Happy Meal Toy
-Another one that was fun looking up and bringing back some memories!

16. Favorite Book
-R.L. Stine. I loves being able to go through and pick certain scenarios and teh books could end in a bunch of different ways.

17. Favorite Clothing Store
-In the 90's I didn't care much about my clothes. I'd have to ask my Mom that question.

18. What would you watch when you'd get home from school?
-I would grab a sppon and container of fluff, get down on the floor in front of the TV and watch Clarissa Explains It All!!!

That was all! I tag each and everyone of you to do this Tag. I really enjoyed searching old commercials and remembering all of the trends and weird games.

Hi, Meet BOB

Hello beauties and good morning!!! This blog post is completely off topic to anything I've yet to post but I was inspired yesterday, yes, by a man named Bob. Bob (his real name) works where I do and in the 4 years I have been employed there, I've always seen him. Everyone talk of him, he's about 60-70ish (I'm not good at guessing ages) and he has some stories. the kind of stories you'd hear from your typical Grandpa.

So yesterday I was rushing in to the time clock as usual. Bob is a security guard and yesterday he was posted by the time clock when I came in. I always greet him "hi Bob!" and his response is always "Hey, kid". I had a few minutes to spare yesterday though and rather then just say Hi, I told him it was bitter cold outside. He continued the conversation with "Where did you grow up, kid" I told him "Right here in town, unfortunately". Well, that kicked off a story :) He proceeded to say how unfortunate it is to bring kids up in this town nowadays compared to when he was in his younger years. He said that when he was little this town was amazing, the people were amazing, everyone was friends with everyone, and there was no such thing as 'crime'. I know this to be true. Growing up with 6 aunts and uncles, I've heard my fair share of stories. But each time, I am always in awe. How could a town that was so great, turn to what it is today.

Bob said when he was a kid, the TV wasn't even in the picture until he was more towards a teen (just the thought of that would make me feel ancient) but with his heart and charm I think he still feels 13 :) Anyways, it's so true. Technology has not made the world a better and more informed place it has actually made people into the world we have today. I feel technology would have been useful in medicine, for sure. But carrying it into the world of people has destroyed us, and the world we live in. I envy the people who do not know how to even use a cell phone or a computer. So many lives have been torn apart. My experience with technology has brought unbelievable hurt on my soul, and as much as I hate it, I must use it everyday. In my eyes. I'd be lost without my phone, but I am super annoyed by what can be done and is done every single day. technology is abused and used.

I love my kids so much but am so scared and I hurt for them already by the life and obstacles they are going to face growing up. Life can be hard sometimes as it is. How come we can't have communities and families like they did 50 years ago? Whatever happened to all that? Where people communicated by going to each others house to visit. Now, you pick up your phone and text or email. Bob said it was only the men allowed to go to the pool hall, where there would be alcohol, and the boys would swear. Women were allowed, but they could go have tea with their friends. Hmm, then there would be no drunk sluts slouching over your man at the bar. Women concentrated on raining their kids, not worrying about working 40+ hours a week .

What ever happened to society? Do you believe technology killed it?

Until later,
Tasha - xox

Good Morning and Happy Friday beauties!!! I don't have much to write about so I'm going to play catch up since it';s been a little bit and there has been a couple gaps in my blog posts. There's no legit excuse but I will say that Christmas has been stressing me the heck out!!! I have four kids that are all old enough to know Santa will be here soon and they have been good, and the only thing that means it's they get lots of presents from Santa! I know that I am not alone when I say that EVERY SINGLE YEAR right after Christmas, I tell myself that next year I need to start buying early. I usually am the one to say right after school starts in September I need to start Christmas shopping, to avoid the rush and stress. That never happens though. Not once have I been prepared or shopped early. I envy those that can pull that off though.

So, here it is. December 6th. My son (the only  boy) is 11 and is an avid video game player. (I know, I know). My second oldest is my daughter Bryanna who is 7. She has an imagination I would have died for as a child, and also loves video games, but just one in particular. On the computer, minecraft. Oh and she loves watching youtube videos and stealing my makeup! haha. My third child is my 4 year old daughter Brylee. She isn't the baby and everyone feels for her because she was pretty much robbed of her 'babyhood'. I might have just made that word up. But when she was only 1, a few months shy from 2, I brought home her new baby sister. And when I say robbed of, I mean my Son had 4 years of us before we brought his first sister home. Then when we brought Bryanna home, she had 3 years with us before we brought Brylee home. While Brylee only had that one year with us before we brought home her sister. And it was made rougher because both Brylee and Braelyn were in the hospital for 4-6 weeks before they could come home. So when we robbed her we also took some attention away to care for the sick baby Braelyn. who is 2 now, and out last baby ever :)

So with all those fun facts being said I just also wanted to include that for Christmas the last couple years my Grandma & Grandpa (who have done so much for me ever since I was a baby ALL the way up to present day) and also my Parents (who of course have done more for me than I could ever thank them for) they bring ALL their presents over on Christmas eve. So, on Christmas morning, after being depressed of all the little things we bought the kids, our eyes light up every year because not only do my Grandparents and Parents have enough money to buy way more then we can, but they also spoil the heck out of them. One example is, my 4 year old has an ipod and Kindle. I'm not going to rant and rave about what my kids own because not only do I not want to feel as though I am bragging, but 99% of it I don't agree with. Like this laptop I am using at the moment, my daughter who is 7 now, got when she was 4. needless to say I am and have been using it because it's not even logical to buy a 4 year old a damn laptop. When I complained about it to my Mom (My Gram was the one who got it) my Mom said Tasha, she knows she doesn't have 30 years left in her, just let her do what she wants. That made me feel a little bad, so I let it go. But every year for birthdays and holidays, I know my kids are well set. But what happens when they are all gone? I can't do all this by myself. And I think that is what ticks me off the most.

Anyways, after another pointless story. For Christmas this year i was starting to go a little crazy. It's December 6th. What am I going to do? Sure we have 2 paychecks before Christmas... but we also have bills. So I called up my job, because I have been enrolled in 401k there for about 2 years now. So i went and borrowed my own money from there. I didn't get much money. $1000. But that's a hell of a start. So now I am feeling a shit ton better and the thought of Christmas is bringing back some more light in my eyes. I'm probably going to go shopping next week sometime and do it all in one day. That's my plans.

Sorry this was all over the place and COMPLETELY random, I just needed to vent!!

A real blog post soon to come:)

EOS Dilemma

Hello beauties!!! Hope you all are having an amazing day! This is random and quick. I was just cleaning out my purse and one of the items I pulled out and threw in the 'do not put back in purse' pile was a red EOS lip balm. Am I the only one who hates this stuff? I've never ever, not even after the five colors I bought, liked this carp.

I just tried it again before flinging it in the junk pile. You have to use so much pressure on ur lips to even a layer on. I would definitely purchase a plain Jane chapstick then to use this cute little egg. Makes me kind of sad just because the packaging is so darn cute and I've watched a million get ready with me videos and 99% of the ladies put this stuff on first to 'moisturize' their lips. I just don't get it.

Am I the only one? Probably. I'm probably the only person in the WORLD who hates this. But I did try to love it. So I give myself props for that. But jeeeeez!

Since it IS only 24 DAYS AWAY!!!.....

Hello beauties!! This morning I woke up, turned the laptop on, and there it was, flashing in my face. The date. December 1, 2013. Oh how so unready for Christmas I am!!! Anyways, here's a quick little Christmas TAG I found that I figured would be a good time to post :) Hope you enjoy and have an amazing day!!

1. When do you begin to get excited for Christmas?
  - When I was a kid, Christmas really sunk in shortly after Thanksgiving when we would put our tree up!!
2. What is your favorite Christmas song? (add a link if you want)
 - I would have to say any pop artist singing Christmas music. For my kids sake, all and any Christmas music is allowed to play but my favorite would have to be by pop singers :)

3. What are your top 3 favorite Christmas movies?
 - A Christmas Story of course. Even though it is overplayed now but that was and always will be my favorite. (You'll shoot your eye out) haha
 - Elf definitely comes in next in line. That was hilarious
 - And I'd probably choose How The Grinch Stole Christmas. That was a nice watch too,

4. Do you send out Christmas cards?
 - No we do not, although we definitely should. Although this day and age we can send one via text message or email :)
5. Do you shop early or leave it till last minute?
 - Last minute. It is December 1st and I have not one item yet. And FOUR kids to buy for, Hate myself for it every single year.
6. Do you prefer giving gifts or receiving them?
 - Both, I have receiving a gift when I have no gift to give in return.
7. Do you get a real tree or a fake one?
 - A fake one. II think I might have had a real one a few years ago. I don't know, my memory is shot, But usually fake.
8. Do you consider yourself a pro at wrapping presents, Alright at it, or you have to have someone else wrap your gifts?
 - Oh I am an awesome present wrapper :)
9. When do you start listening to Christmas music?
- I might be listening to it right now... haha but I usually start listening after Thanksgiving. Like, RIGHT after. Like the next day.

10. What is your favorite thing about the holiday season?
 - Just all the excitement and the happiness in people.
11. What is your favorite Christmas/Winter Drink?
 - Always Dunkin Donuts Hot Caramel Latte :):)

Well that wasn't so bad, so come on. I TAG YOU. YOU'RE IT, so leave me a comment with the link to your Christmas TAG so I can come read it!!

My November Favorites!!

Hello beauties!! I watch so many monthly favorite videos and I finally decided 'DUHHH I CAN DO A BLOG ON MY MONTHLY FAVORITES!!' So, here I am. What I have noticed though when I actually sit down and think about it is, I usually use the same products month after month after month. But I have actually bought some new stuff this month so it makes a little more sense to do this blog post! So let's jump right into it and hope this doesn't get too long or bore you.

Starting with hair stuff.. For about two weeks now I have been using the Mane and Tale shampoo and conditioner. I needed something to help my dry processed hair and have tried so so many different shampoo and conditioners and I honestly didn't have much hope for this brand anymore then I did the brand before. But it made my hair feel absolutely AMAZING! I was so surprised and shocked and very happy with the results. I am just about out and I will definitely be re-purchasing!

For my face moisturizer, this isn't something newly purchased but it is something new I have dug out of the back of my beauty junk and rediscovered. It's my Simple Face Moisturizer. I Came to find out the hard way that when I was applying face moisturizer before  my primer everyday I was applying too much. That was leaving my face slippery and not a good canvas to work with. So lately I have been using the tiniest amount, just enough to make a thin layer all over my face and it has been making application of everything else a breeze!

For foundation, I am still on my Kat-Von D Bottle. I believe I have been using this for probably 5 weeks or so. I had ordered it online along with Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour foundation. I absolutely love the coverage of Kat Von D but i was finding that after I put some dabs on my face by the time I went back in to rub it in, it was drying and very hard to blend. So I have recently been applying little tiny dots of the Tarte foundation and it has just been making it so much easier to blend the Kat Von D.

All month for concealer I was experimenting. I have used the maybelline dark spot corrector (the one in the white tube not the clear one) and applying that all over my face before foundation (was an amazing freckle cover-upper) haha. But recently I have purchased and tried the fit me concealer along with glamouflauge by hard candy. But just two days ago I went and repurchased the maybelline dark spot correcter because it just worked the best for me.

As for my eyeshadow, i have not added anymore to my collection. I have more then enough and every color that I would ever use. I am not one for bright green or blue eyeshadow..I'm just a natural eye, smokey most of the time. So All I have been using is Wet N Wild brown colored trio's and switching it up between some maybelline quads too. I have been loyal to my eyeliner as well. For tight lining and water lining I have been sticking with my scandaleyes waterproof khol pencil and for my top eyeliner I have been with jessies girl. It stays put ALL day long I absolutely love it!!

And that about sums it up. I do have some model in a bottle spray left..probably about a work weeks worth but I cannot use that with the kat von d foundation because as soon as I spray that on my face, it immediately breaks apart my foundation. So I will keep that in a safe place until my foundation is gone, because model in a bottle is actually a really great product.

Oh I almost forgot mascara. Sometime my friend sometimes my enemy. I use a ton of mascara. Everyday. I have a drawer full of about 15 mascaras open and used. I only curl my lashes the once, right before mascara. I have tried curling them again to get my desired effect, but every time I went to do that it would just make a mess of my lashes. And yes, I made sure they were dry before I curled them again. I usually like to start and end with clump crusher to separate my lashes, and I use basically anything and everything between those coats until I get my desired effect.

Ok, now I am really done. Hope you enjoyed reading! I will get better at these I promise. This was super fun to do and think about!

Hope you all have an amazing Saturday!!

Sweater Weather TAG!!!

Hello there chicas!!! Found this TAG and since it's kind of short I have just enough time to do it before I have to get ready for work. I hope you enjoy reading && enjoy your day!!!!

1. Favorite Fall lip product?
-My lips get super dry in the winter and I recently looked in my drawer of 'stuff' (aka a shit ton of makeup thrown in a drawer that I forget about) I found Nivea..umm, oh crap. I left it at work. It's not the lip butter, it's the one in the blue tube. I will have to insert a pic! But ya it's super smooth and hydrating!

2. Favorite Fall Nail Polish? - I was recently watching one of itsblondie's video and had to ask her what color her nails were.. she had Essie's 'Wicked" and when I went to the drugstore I spotted "Carry on" by Essie.. it's almost like "wicked" but more of a not so shiny color :)

3. Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink? - Hot caramel Latte from Dunkin Donuts (we don;t have a Starbucks in my town so I've never tried them!)

4. Favorite Fall Candle? - Oh that's easy. Bergamont Woods from Bath & Body Works. I can see that scent lasting more in my home than just the fall.

5. Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory - My favorite accessory/clothing is hoodies. They can't be plain, there has to be writing of some sort or a picture on the back. As for scarves, I've never rocked one before!

6. Haunted house, haunted hay ride, or haunted corn maze? - Haunted Houses freak me out, I hold onto the person ahead of me, clothes my eyes and scream when they scream haha. I've never done a haunted hay ride or corn maze but sounds fun!

7. Favorite Halloween movie? - Halloween. That's the only Halloween movie that freaks me out.

8. Favorite candy to eat on Halloween? - Starburst!! And chocolate until I get sick of it. ...yes, I am not normal and can only take in so much chocolate before I feel like losing my guts!

9. What are you dressing up as for Halloween?! - Well Halloween is done and over, so does that mean I am late on this tag?! I don't dress up for Halloween though but my kids were: Brendon, The Reaper. Bryanna, a witch. Brylee, a cat. And little Braelyn was a different cat costume!

10. What is your Favorite thing about Fall?
 - Cuddles, and hoodies. I'm telling you hoodies is my obsession. I own about 40 and get more every tax season :)

I TAG anyone reading this to do this tag before it gets super too late. Since there are Halloween questions I assume I am late, so go ahead and leave me a comment after you've done the tag!!

Have an amazing day and I'll be back soon!

I SWEAR I'm NOT an A** Kisser!!!!!

Hello lovies. So it's that time again where I work. The oh-so-hated rotation time. As some may know from previous social media updates, I work as a banker in our Casino. We are one of the few departments that rotates shifts every three months. You go from day shift (5am-1pm) for three months to Swing shift (1pm-9pm) for three months and then to grave shift (9pm-5am) for three months after which the cycle starts over for you. I've worked there for three years and this past year is when they strictly started enforcing that you rotate and go where your supposed to, rather then being able to switch shifts with anyone who wanted to switch prior to this past year. I've worked grave shift..about 9 months ago. It was the worst and probably the lowest point I could ever be in my life. I hated it so much, I missed my family. I cherished my days off like gold.

When I was on grave shift my schedule was like this:
My boyfriend works 12-8pm Friday thru Tuesday with Wednesday and Thursdays off. He works at the same Casino as me, but he is a craps dealer. His department never rotates. So he's been there about 3 years as well, and has always been a 12-8pm shift. So When he would get home at 8:30 pm, I would be dressed and ready and waiting for him and when he'd walk in the door I would walk out to be there for 9pm. It was torture. I didn't have a problem staying awake until 5am at work, because you kind of grow accustomed to it and don;t realize the time. I'd get done at 5am, drive home and be there by 5:30-6 because I usually had to stop for a latte, even though I was dead tires, I had to go home and get my older 2 up and off to school before my babysitter showed about 9am after getting her little one off to school. So forcing myself up from 5am-9am was again, very depressing. She would get there at 9 to babysit the two babies so I could go sleep.

The babysitter let me sleep until about 3pm, which is when the older kids would be getting off the bus. Then I had to do whatever I needed to do and be in the shower by 6:30, to start my night all back over again.

Swing shift (1pm-9pm) is my absolute favorite shift. Not just because my boyfriend works around that time but because it's not tooo early or too late. I can wake up, do laundry or clean whatever, get the kids dressed and breakfast. Then after all that I can focus on getting ready for work.

Well, 3 days ago, emails went out. I got mine that said "Tasha you are going to grave shift with Friday Saturday off. I just about died, and now I had to go through my day at work with this craziness on my mind. LUCKILY, one the the bankers I was relieving on day shift was like "Well I got swwing shift and I'd prefer grave. Would you wanna see if we can switch?" I was like I know we can't but meh, whats there to lose? So this was on Friday afternoon. Yesterday I gained the courage to look in my mailbox at work to see if we got any kind of response. And we did!!!!!

I was sooo happy and relieved they let us. So now, I can stay right where I;m at. I am so thankful for my boss/supervisor for helping me out and keeping me on my shift. I just of course can't spread the word we switched because then they will get bombarded with people who want to switch shifts.

Like the title states I am by far an ass kisser, but i am for sure one happy Momma.

Sorry for the randomness of this entry. I just wanted to share my joy. I havent quite yest figure out if I want two seperate blogs. One for makeup one for a day in the life. I know not too many people wamnt to read a whole bunch of randomness of one blog. We will see. I'll take your opinions!!

Have a great and happy Monday!

The 30 Beauty Questions TAG!!!

Time for another tag! MissLJBeauty tagged me to do this a few days ago (I got really busy so I'm kind of late on doing it) but I'm so glad I finally had the time to do it! There are 30 beauty questions to answer, so lets just jump right into it! :)

1. How many times do you wash your face daily?
Once. I wash it in the morning and that's it. Bad beauty rule broken, I know!

2. What skin type do you have?
I have combination skin. My T-Zone is an oil slick and I HATE it!

3. What is your current facial wash?
I use the Olay clothes you have to wet and lather, then I use Nutrogena wipes to get off any excess, then in the shower I use a nutregina face bar soap to get the leftovers!

4. Do you exfoliate?
Yes. I exfoliate my face at least once a week with St.Ives scrub.

5. What moisturiser do you use?
Recently I've been bouncing between a few. I will either use Simple Brand or Cetaphil.

6. Do you have freckles?
YES. My face is COVERED. And I  have hated them since I was teeny tiny.

7. Do you use eye cream?
No, but I have been wanting to!

8. Did you or do you have acne prone skin?
No I do not. I very rarely get a pimple.

9. What foundation do you use?
I used revlon colortsya for many years and just recently started using kat von d's foundation about 2 weeks ago.

10. How about concealer?
I use concealer for my freckles not so much my under eye area, but I use either MAC prolongwear or revlon colorstay.

11. Do you know your undertone color?
Yes. I'm pretty sure I have more of a pink undertone.

12. What do you think of fake eyelashes?
No, I've never worn fake lashes. I have naturally long lashes.

13. Did you know your supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes, all makeup has an "expiration" date. But, I normally do not follow them because my makeup still works fine. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not haha.

14. What brand of mascara do you use?
Covergirl and Physicians Formula are the ones I use the most.

15. What make-up tools do you use in your make up application?
I always use some type of Real Techniques brush when applying my makeup!

16. Do you use a makeup base/primer for the eyes?
Yes. I use a different one every day though. I have a bunch of different ones.

18. What is your favourite eyeshadow colour or shade?
I love rose gold colors, and also different shades of brown.

19. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Both. I use a pencil liner on my water line and to tight line, and I use a liquid liner on the lash line.

20. Do you use mineral makeup?
No, I have never tried it.

21. What is your favorite lipstick?
That's a tough question to answer. I am a NUDE chic. Like, concealer nude. Ya I'm that kinda girl. Lately I've been trying to love MAC's Creme d  nude since I paid so much for it, but it's just not nude enough for me. I have yet to find one that is nude enough.

22. What is your favorite blush to use?
I love every NYX blush I own! I'm also loving my ELF blush in Mellow Mauve.

23. Have you ever considered taking makeup classes?
Not really, in my small town there is really no where to take classes for those types of things.

24. Name a makeup crime that you hate?
I'm not sure what a "makeup crime" is considered, but I absolutely hate when people wear bright white eyeshadow in their crease and brow bone with a different color on the lid! I've seen it done too many times. I also hate when people don't know how to blend out their eyeshadow. Oh, and when someone looks like they stuck their finger in black eyeshadow and just streaked it across their eyes... no. I could go on and on lol.

25. Are you clumsy in putting makeup on?
Not really, although sometimes I do poke myself in the eye with my mascara wand if I'm not paying attention.

26. Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Lauren Conrad! Her makeup and outfit always look amazing. I'd be one happy girl if I owned her wardrobe.

27. Could you ever leave the house without make up on?
Yes, maybe. But I prefer not to.

28. If you could leave the house with just ONE makeup item, what would it be?
Chapstick. I cannot stand not having something on to hydrate my lips.

29. In your opinion what is the BEST makeup line?
For high end, I'd probably have to say MAC or Lorac. For drugstore I would have to say either NYX, ELF, or Covergirl!

30. What do you love about make up?
I love how creative people can get with it. It's so much fun creating different looks day after day. No matter what you are in the mood for, you can always portray that with your face. I also love how it can give a girl confidence. I've known girls who felt down about themselves, but had a change in mood once they put on a little makeup. The world of beauty is an awesome place! Everyone is so compassionate about it!

If anyone else wants to do this tag you're more than welcome to!
Just let me know in the comments below so I can check out your post! :)

My YouTube.....

Hello loves. I just wanted to throw this down on the table real quick. I do have a YouTube channel. Currently on that I have just been uploading short mini clips of my life. Not being consistent but I am giving it my all, and until I figure out how to edit, its just coming straight from my phone. I am going to be using my flip camera soon to do a whats on my samsung galaxy 3 tag, and depending on the difference in quality I might use the flip from here on out. But we will have to see that quality.

My YouTube channel is NOT for tutorials, but rather beauty product reviews and rants and raves. I am no where near an artist and would never claim to be. So i will stick to vlogging and beauty reviews. I think I might make a separate channel for beauty and keep my vlogs separate, just because that seems to be what subbies like.

But yea, I just wanted to get that out. No pressure to subscribe ;)   <----- Vlog Channel

Have a great and Happy Thirsty Thursday !!!

Hello chicas! So I have been browsing blogs all day looking for imaginations and inspirations. One that caught my eye was doing a weekly 'My Life In Pictures'. It looks fun and interesting, and would also bring back some amazing memories down the road. The only thing I have to do is REMEMBER to take pictures. Tomorrow is my day off so I figure why not start then!! And I am thinking every Friday would be a great upload day. Yep. Sounds like a plan to me!!

Talk to you soon!! I have one more blog post ready to go!!!

Sunday, November 10, 2013

Hello loves!!! It's Friday morning, and my plan was to get this posted last night but I got too sucked into my YouTube subscription feed that by the time I was like 'Oh ya!! THAT'S what I needed to do!!' it was too late and I was too tired. But here it is, better late then never I suppose. Even though I hate that saying because I'm always late at everything :( Anyyyways, here is my full coverage makeup routine for EVERYDAY. I've been with my boyfriend like 12-13 years and he can testify that I've never been a day without makeup, except a few days where he wasn't home, that was my exception. That may sound weird and sound as though I only wear makeup to impress my boyfriend, who should be with me no matter if I have makeup on or not if he truly cares, but it's just my own self-confidence issue. Not his. So without further rambles.... here it goes!!! Hope you enjoy!!

So to start with, before I take a shower (every morning, I CAN'T do the night shower thing) I was my face with Olay wash cloths. I just recently found them and they do work amazing. My only request would be that they be just a tad tiny bit bigger. After my shower I moisturize and with that I switch between two different moisturizers. I either use the brand 'Simple' moisturizer or I will use Cetaphil. Just depending on if I was a thick cream or thinner. Following that is my primer. I have been using Benefits POREfessional for about a week now, I ordered the little bitty (literally) travel size tube of it.  I use that on my problem pore area but it doesn't seem to work too well, and I even dab it in. And on the rest of my face I use Revlon primer, which I LOVE! Just recently I stopped using Garnie Fructis BB Cream, which I would apply on top of my primer. But lately I've just been going right to the concealer after primer. I need something good, because I have an army of freckles on my face that i HATE. I know some people love them, and most people that don;t have them think that the people who do should flaunt them.... well that's not me. I hate them and always have. Maybe if I didn;t have as much it'd be different. But from as far back as I can remember I have always had foundation on my face.

So for concealer for the last few weeks I have been using Sonia Kashuk's concealer palette in medium. Although the product went quite fast I do like the coverage and staying power. So At this point I just use the concealer and dab it over the majority of my freckles. I don;t get worried about a few popping through because I have discovered Kat Von D's Lock-It Tattoo Foundation. And kind of have an obsession! Although very thick and pretty hard to blend, I find the best way to apply is with my fingers. I dab the foundation in dots all over my entire face and use my fingers to blend it out. With it being so thick and hard to blend I take my wet beauty blender and dab the blender all over my face to even everything out. And it looks amazing. The only thing I CANNOT do with this foundation is set it with my Model In A Bottle setting spray because it seems to break apart the foundation around my nose. Odd, but that's what happens.

If I feel like using a concealer to brighten my under eye I will use Mac Prolong wear concealer in NW20 or Maybelline Fit Me concealer wand in light. And I use the tip of the beauty blender to blend that out as well. I usually take my setting brush by elf to set my under eyes with stay matte translucent powder then use the same powder with elf's powder brush to set the rest of my face. Then bronzer time. My favorite part. I had elfs blush and bronzer duo before but it was in a super dark color... just recently I found the original (St.Lucia) duo and...AMAZING! I love it so much. And I also love the new brush I got for $3.99!!!!!! I will link it below. It doesn't even have a name, super cheap brush I was skeptical but meh, whats $3?! It took a couple weeks to come because it was from like China or something, that brush is ummm, there is not even words for it. I just washed my brushes last night, but I know that for foundation when I try it, it is going to be awesome. It is super superssoft and extremely dense! I use the same blush in the bronzer duo of St.Lucia then I highlight my cheekbones and bridge of my nose with hard Candy's "bronzer" in Tiki! That thing is going to last me YEARS.
I use elfs eyeshadow primer (the one that's $1) and prime my eyes. I then use the elf eyeshadow compact pictured below, I use the second shade down, the light brown to contour my eyes. Then I put Maybellines          on my eyes before my base color, which I have been IN LOVE with the quad pictured below in the color      . I use the second color (dark brown) on my lids and the copper color in my crease. For the highlight on my eyes and inner corner I use the new Jordana eyeshadow stick. I love it so much!! I then tight line and put eyeliner on my lower lid with, again, Jordana's 12hr eyeliners (super soft and smooth and DOES last a super long time!) On my eyelid I have been using L'Oreal's carbon intense eyeliner for a long time and it's my holy grail and absolute favorite!!

For my eyelashes, I just curl them once, before I apply any mascara, and I either use CoverGirl clump crusher or Lash perfection as my first coat. More often I reach for Lash Perfection and then use clump crusher as my second layer. (there's a lot of layers let me warn you) Before that dries I go over my lashes with L'Oreal's shocking extensions and also use that on my lower lashes. At this point I may go back in with clump crusher depending on how I am doing for time. Usually as my last coat I use The Jordana extreme,  or  just pick a random volumizer from the drawer of 13 mascaras I have open : /
And by the way for all my mascaras they all have to be waterproof and in the blackest color they come. Same with eyeliner... the blackest I can get!

And that covers my face routine!! I used to love spraying my face at the end with model in a bottle setting spray, but with the kat von d foundation I cannot use that. Like I mentioned earlier it literally breaks apart my foundation right away. But when I was using Revlons ColorStay foundation, the model in a bottle worked AMAZING!! I am so glad I purchased that.

Most of the products I use come from the drug store because I do not have any stores around my area with high end makeup so therefor whatever high end products you see or hear of me mentioning I have ordered online. Usually from Amazon. That is my most shopped at online site.

Sorry this was super long but i wanted to include everything step by step. I hope you all have an amazing Sunday and I will talk to you soon!!!
